Sorry for the giant delay. The sprite is looking good so far. I like the thin limbs -- it contributes to the quirky style. Here's what I would do.

- Try putting him on a less saturated background. It will be more representative of the variety of backgrounds he may encounter as a sprite. If the only place he'll be seen in-game is against a similar red color, then I would edit the colors once the background is finalized. The sprite may need lighter, less saturated highlights to stand out.

- The detail in the face isn't reading clearly for me. The skin tones are bleeding into the red of the hat and the scarf. I would take the dark shade on the right side of his face and extend it along the underside of his jaw to help define the shape. There also needs to be a similar outline along the bottom of the brim of his hat.

- Right now he looks a little flat. The arm farthest from the viewer has the same values as the closer arm, so it twists his stance. I would make his right arm darker than the left to maintain the illusion of depth.

- The pistols are getting lost against the background color. They could use darker shades to define the underside of the shapes.

Hope this helps!

It's been a long time, so you could get a better explanation here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_loop

When your mouse cursor is in a certain area, run a "for" loop, moving the GUI element down pixel by pixel.

Honestly, the assets for Pib are archived on a back up drive somewhere. Is that the character you're talking about? I don't mind if you give him a cameo in the game (no need to put me in the game info, maybe just give Herculean Effort a special thanks in the credits), but I think it'd be cooler if you drew him yourself. Plus, it would match the rest of your game. What do you think?

Glad you liked Apprentice!

I'm glad you liked the game!

That image is a combination of the credits image and one of the ending pictures I believe. There's no poster-size for it, unfortunately.
